The Dark Knight and Game Theory
After watching the latest Batman film I had a long discussion with a friend about the similarities between the ending scene of the film and The Prisoners Dilemma, after reading about it at length in Dawkins’ ‘The Selfish Gene’. There is a particularly interesting, and much more involved, breakdown at The Quantitative Peace. At some point I’ll write about our other example – Game Theory as applied to buying rounds of drinks.
